The story of the widow's offering in Luke 21:1-4 has always inspired me. I got to thinking that there are other stories in the Bible that have a similar kind of "widow's offering." Stories like Elisha and the widow (1Kings 17:8-16) and the boy who gave his food that became the miracle of Jesus feeding the 5000 (John 6:1-13). I put their stories to music in this song.
